Times are a’changing

The beginning of year 2013 meant change for me. I quit my previous job after 6 years, spent few weeks with my family (which was nice) and started a new job at Reaktor Innovations.

I’m really proud to be part of the company with so much talent and truly agile way of working. To be honest, the new job is a bit of an eye-opener too. I got too used to work and think in a certain way that I almost thought I’m “ready” in terms of professionalism.

The reality is quite the opposite. Now I realize that there’s quite a journey ahead and piles of stuff still to learn. I’ll never be ready, but I can always be better at what I do. That certainly works as a motivator and it feels great.

I think I’ll mostly move out of SOA posts in the future and focus on more detailed topics about software engineering. Let’s see what I’ll come up with.
